Welcome to Tree House Quest !!

In this game you play Jacob, a little boy who got his tree house stolen by his big bro.

The whole game takes place in the garden where you'll have to get your room back by overcoming many obstacles, such as deadly robots or evil vegetables (They are the worst !!).

Overall I really enjoyed playing this game. I smiled the whole way through and shared it with a few others. I got lost after I got the shovel though. It might be because I am slow.

The dwarf part is way too steep of a difficulty curve. Really cool game though. I love the graphics.

There are a lot of things here.
Cool graphics, cool audio, cool story,
maybe too many, or just need to be more challenging (maybe the next time do less assets and more levels?)
But this is a little remark, that's a really good stuff!

Gameplay could use some polish, as there's no need to use defense or heal when you can just attack all the time

Absolutely love the environments and characters (I wanna pet the Sphinxter). The gameplay flowed really well, except the gnomes took a while. Overall the game felt really cohesive. Great job!

Really liked this. I feel like the dwarves are a bit too punishing in some cases (seems like line of sight is defined wierd), but other than that it was absolutely amazing! I hope I can get to this level some day :)

From far the best game I've come across in this Ludum Dare! Every detail was so cute and funny. I loved it how every enemy was something a kid would imagine he's fighting against. The idea and design are amazing. Congrats, guys!

Game-play-wise this game has a few missteps (stealth section with too little sight, ...) and is too easy in my opinion.

Other than that, this game is on point. I loved the graphics, laughed at (most of - you can't get them all - ) the puns and the music was blending in perfectly.

Very fun and polished game! The art was great which isn't surprising considering the amount of artists but what impressed me was the consistency across the entire game. The style was pretty much the same on each screen. I thought the combat was pretty stale and the only time I didn't just press space was during the final 2-3 fights. This is a very complete game and a lot of fun exploring (:

Really cool! Though -no surprise- I didn't find the theme really used. The art and gameplay was both nostalgic, polished, and humorous, so kudos for that! Loved how each zone was different, couldn't have been easy.

I expected the art to be the same with the cutscenes (Vector style). That aside it was an amazing experience overall, I give it 5/5

Great game! Fun, with a good, cute, well written story (except for a few typos here and there ;P) and highly polished. I'm impressed at how much content you've packed, not only in terms of assets, but in mechanics as well.

WOW. Incredible for a gamejam. The animation is super smooth, the music fits perfectly, the style is charming and with very nice detail and the combat feels fun. It's so nice to see someone dare to tackle an adventure RPG in a jam... This would be a really awesome game if developed further. An adventure RPG with THESE graphics, turn base combat and the "child-world" theme I remember so fondly if the mother series? INSTA-SOLD. 10/10 would fight evil pogo sis again

This is a truly impressive entry for a 3 day jam, there's so much content and polish. I love the pokemon-esque feeling it offers, while having its own personality. The music is super fitting for an adventure and graphics are simply fantastic. The yoyo as the main weapon is a very clever choice (hadn't seen one in games since Spinmaster!), which goes perfectly with a young character. Personally I enjoyed the sound effects (especially the enemy ones). I found them super funny and could imagine the team recording them during the jam, as all of us have done sometimes. It's always a fun moment. As said, a truly remarkable game for this jam, I'd love to see an extended version of this game! Congratulations!!!

Very fun overall. I did find the dwarves section a bit frustrating, and most of that could be fixed with giving the dwarves a "view" indicator, because it was really hard to figure out when they could see me.

Wonderful game ! A lot of content, with beautiful music and graphics ! Brioche needs his own game :D

Some small problems : the fight musics and sometimes too loud compared to the main music and were a bit annoying. Also I thought the fighting parts were too random, with too easy fights in the beginning and the final boss that I could not beat because it was too difficult, but I did not really find a strategy to beat him.

Sooo polished and tons of content.
I really enoyed playing it and I'm not a big fan of turn by turn combat but it was quite easy.

Amäzing overall, the graphics were pretty, the soundtrack was catchy. The only small grudge i have is the sneaky-gnome part which felt kinda impossible at times and the combat in the begging which just ended up with me spamming space to just quickly pass by them. Other than that I loved this game!

Great game and impressed at the amount of content you were able to get in. Such a gorgeous looking entry with alot of charm and character. Also liked the twist at the end and how everyone was brought back to the reality of childhood and forgetting the time while playing. Clever entry.
