It's the Wurst! A Post Mortem

Congrats everyone on finishing your jams and compos! Now for the celebratory brain dump post mortem for our game, It's the Wurst!

So due to real-life-work related things I had to miss Friday and half of Saturday, jumped in on Saturday morning with my teammates having already completed their idea! Too much eating is awful and because we can't control ourselves with puns, well, the Wurst pun ever happened (are you tired of it yet? Never!)

Here's a progression of our looks from Saturday afternoon to now:

I'm a medical illustrator by trade so you better bet that stomach was gonna be vaguely stomach shaped. Cause science.

Kobayashi the Maru

Betraying American Icon Joey Chestnut, we chose model our mega-eater on the great Kobayashi. How that guy is so ripped we will never know. I tried for a manga style and was...semi successful? My middle school self would shame me.

StrengthsPulling together a game with half the time as a usual LD!

WeaknessesI couldn't decide on a manga style or a super slick color style...so, uh, it's both. Which is not ideal.

The Wurst Wrapup Ever (and she just kept going with this pun...)

I also had to miss Monday due to that pesky job thing, so most of it was done on Sunday! My team pulled up the slack and well, another LD is in the books. Next time I hope to have more time (don't we all?) Hope you all had a fun LD as well, can't wait to play and rate some games!
