Try out our point-n-click adventure game / board game! You play Alida, a young cadet at Arx Academia, a school of various forms of magic. Today is the yearly trials and you need to prove that you are worthy enough.
(We wanted to implement board game more than we had time to)

This was very fun to make as we explored a lot of area we hadn't worked on before. New tools. New genre. Focus on story instead of features. Do voice acting (over 250 lines!)

Hopefully we will get time to make a post-jam version with some things we didn't have time for and some bugs reported in the comments:

Things we wanted to add but didn't have time:
- In / Out walking animations (currently causes some moonwalking)
- More chess

Reporting issues
- Potion ingredient respawn bug
- Voice sync for web version (works better for downloadable)
- Balance voice levels
- Chess king piece easier to identify
- Castle missing line
- Some voice files choppy/unfitting wood (not sure we can re-record them, we'll see)
