With a bit more traps, maybe some sort of events ? Like assassin lady instead of a date, lady crowds because the MC is such a dandy, etc ...
@hyorvenn you are absolutely right the game need too be more difficult, but for now I am just happy that I have a game that is playable. For me the main focus for this game was the voice acting, so I am happy you liked it.
Well it crashed on my computer, and my screen was broken during this jam and your game is full-screen only, so... I cant play your game :worried: .Though it looks so interesting.
It was a bit scary having such a long black screen at the start! Good work on the voice acting. I feel like the dates should have been a bit more of a "mini-game" rather than just clicking and waiting, and also they would sometimes not appear for ages and ages - so it needs to have a min and max time between spawning dates.
Really help me on getting my dating life back together.
Jokes aside it was a great game, and definetely the best game I've played so far. Voice acting was hilarious and the execution of theme was perfect. Thank you, for creating this awesome masterpiece!
Pretty funny game :) It would have been nice if the dates were harder, such as losing progress if you say the same thing twice, and changing the position of the buttons. Also, the difficulty needs to get harder, at a certain point I could keep playing forever.

Nice effort, but not very fun to play. A few issues: * the logs kind of blend in with the road * the jumping feels sluggish * waiting for the character to get back up after hitting an object is slow and frustrating * the dating game dialogue choices and voice lines are banal
Also, the game gets boring once you realize the strategy of just running away from the stone for a long time and then going on dates after you've gotten enough distance.
@vasco-freitas I agree with you the game is too easy, but you can't run away from stone forever. I also agree that the dating mini game could have been more interesting, but I chose to focus more on the voice acting.
Somehow the game felt both sluggish and too fast, so I don't know what to say about it. I think this could do with a lot more content, but it does work.
I found this as one of the more funny entries. It is nice proof-of-concept for the theme and it fits it nicely. While a lot of people here complains about the mechanics of the game - the selected theme pretty much asks for such games.
The jump timing is a bit off, and character does wake up slowly. But it still is quite playable.
Really great idea and great concept! :) However, I noticed the same issues as guys above - jumping is unresponsive, the obstacles are kind of blended into the road and the waking up after hitting anything is wayyyy toooo sllloooooooowwwww. On the other hand your voice acting is funny as hell, so if that was your focal point, I can get why :)
@travis-spuller thank you for the feedback. I have now fixed some of the issues: - You can no longer jump of the road. - The logs i much brighter now. - You jump a lot higher now. - When you fall you get up again much faster. - You can no longer jump through the rocks.
I don't think any of this fixes really changes the game, but I hope it makes the game a bit less frustrating to play.
And question for you @travis-spuller : How do I quit a job when I am already unemployed?
Had a good laugh with this one. Amazing how you made this all by yourself. One thing i could say could use improvement would be to have more special effects when you hit stuffs. The jumping is also a bit floaty. The hitting the rock animation felt really weak as well. Otherwise great job making something this big in such a short amount of time.
At the beginning I thought it was a bit cringy but when the sound effects came in and they were also your voice I found it funny. The compliments were quite funny and I had to laugh at some haha. "Your eyes are so blue and I like you too" or something like that :D Besides your humour and audio, I also enjoyed the graphics. They were simple but you could cleary differentiate between everything. Only grip I have with the game is, that the stone is getting faster and faster without you being able to do anything. Maybe if your date-score goes up you also move faster? That would make it harder to dodge obstacles and you would not die after a specified amount of time to the stone because it gets to fast.
Original take on the theme, I enjoyed it! Occasionally I seemed to pass through the tables. Also, I tried some of these lines on my wife - it didn't go that well.
@juzley you must have used those lines wrong. The lines are perfect!!! Okay, there is perhaps one or two of them that not always works perfectly, but they are still pretty good. And perhaps it is a bit more then not one or two lines. that do not work perfectly. Okay, perhaps none of them are perfect, but they are still better then nothing. Actually I believe saying nothing is working better. Is those lines the reason why I have no girlfriend?
Really nice entry! I played it for quite some time. I didn't like the fact that after a while the bolder goes faster then you are going. It is good that you make it harder after a while so that it doesn't bore but I would have preferred harder obstacles or harder punishments instead of this. Overall I gave it quite some stars in each category, you did pretty well in each of them to my opinion.
@AllesKapaul : Thank you for the feedback and I am happy you liked the game. I agree that the accelerating rolling stone, not was the best solution, but I decided that I would like the game to have a ending, and within the limited time, this was the best solution I could make.
Really neat idea. The distance between dates is kind of long. Running into things animation is kind of jarring when you just spawn them in front. The voice acting was funny. Good job.

The mix with the dating is ok but not very interesting gameplaywise. It is funny to listen to the dialogue lines but there is not much choice to be made (or I didn't understand the lines effect ?).
After my second date (or 3rd) the boulder was going so fast that I couldn't start a new date anymore (or I would have to run for a lot of time I guess). A bit frustrating.
The theme combination is pretty good, but the gameplay is too simple to really be engaging. It has a lot of waiting, which is weird for an endless runner. I think it would help a lot of the two sections were more related, like if the table would also move downwards while you were on a date so you wouldn't just have to build up a lot of distance before dating is possible. I wish dating also went beyond just clicking one of three options as quickly as possible and waiting for the dialogue to finish.
@Dovakla in the endless runner part you have to collect gifts, love pillows and flowers. The collected things can be used in the dates, and when you have some of those things, you also get more dialog options. Giving gifts, love pillows or flowers to the woman, makes it faster to score her.
@jk5000 I understand that but it still doesn't really change how the dates work and I don't think items are frequent enough to make them feel important to the overall game. That's really just a balance issue though, so it's not too bad.
