A racing game with infinite laps. When you complete a lap, you can choose between one of three powerups and additional hazards will spawn on the track. Get a lap time of under 30 seconds to win!
I really like the darker theme, the spaceship model and the terrain (including textures)! I love how you can pick the powerups, it looks great, is very intuitive and feels like you have some control over how you progress.
Overall very impressive how much you were able to pack into the game in this short amount of time.
Reminds me a little of Road Trip Adventure (which I loved), mainly because of how the boost looks. If you keep working on this, it would work well with multiplayer, I could see people bashing each other about as they fly past. :D
I love the UI elements and the way the art style is so concise. I wasn't able to do a sub 30 seconds round but I kept trying just to hear the boost SFX which was very nice.
Interesting game. What needs more work in my opinion are the sound design, because the ship sounds too light when you hit a wall and the acceleration doesn't have enough power, and the collisions. The collisions seem to be all made of 90 degree turns, so I think that's what is making the ship turn sideways when you hit a wall, which is kind of annoying. Overall this is not my type of game but you did a good job!
I had fun and controls are really good, except when you stop going forward imo the ship stops too quickly. But overall, the drive sensation is quite good and you improve your lap times really fast. Wall collisions were a bit weird with this bouncing movement. If you can manage to make the ship "slide" on walls while reducing a lot the speed (as a normal friction) that will improve a lot the gameplay imho. Also, sound is quite simple but was pleasant especially when you accelerate :)

Looks cool though.
