An Unforgiving Sea

Love the diver animation, the rest of the graphics is a bit behind
The game felt repetitive but I enjoyed the ending :D
I noticed you used SFML, nice one !

Nice art, but sounds get annoying after a few minutes, I like the game, but it quickly gets repetitive

@fermingimpel Thanks for the feedback. We had a few more features planned that didn't make the time frame, but kept 5 stages of gameplay anyway. And it was a huge map too. Next time, I think the map could be about 1/3 of the width and still feel great.

Hi I just finished your game! The ending was really fun! I love games with small windows like yours. The art is really nice and simple and the music is calming.
I would change up the pacing of your game though - I think the dive speed should start how it is with the flippers, and I would reduce all the needed scrap. I enjoyed doing it and it was nice and calm though!

Game won't open.

Hello, the game does not open for me, I get the messages "VCRUNTIME140D.dll" and "ucrtbased.dll" was not found. Hope that helps to fix the bug!

@xparker @rayo @offdutyextractors I'm sorry that the game didn't open for you. I compiled it with SFML in C++, but have tried recompiling again. Fun little game. I saw a flying fish and managed to get out of bounds.. no death message though.

Sweet game peeps, was pretty cool

Great relaxing game of collecting and upgrading. The going back to the ship was a bit of a pain, but that's part of the story and the game!
