Clean out the inside of your ears BY DISREGARDING THE EXPLICIT INSTRUCTIONS AGAINST USING COTTON SWABS FOR THIS PURPOSE written on the package of the cotton swabs.

CONTROLS

* Space to do something
* Click or touch does the same thing as space (in case you're on mobile I guess)

Made in 4 hours on Sunday because I was doing other stuff on Friday and Saturday.

* Graphics with GIMP.
* Built with Phaser 3 and Typescript.
* SFX by my face.
* Music generated with help from WolframTones.

The 5th level difficulty was insane. Took me a ton of tries! Great job though. The simplistic graphics actually work really well with the music and I love the sound effects. They kept making me laugh "Ouch!"

Not bad for only 4 hours spent! The sound effects were on point and the absurdity of the gameplay reminded me of Warioware.

Fantastic considering the time spent, I like the humorous theme. The audio really ties everything together, especially the "Oh Yeah" when you get the swab in!

OHHHH YEAAAH!! Now that is some effective cleaning. Only 4 hours to make this gem is pretty impressive, maybe sometimes less is actually more ??? As a speedrunner I am "THE EAR CLEANING CHAMP" according to the dev. Gives me very good Wario ware vibes, impressive work

This game made me feel really good about myself. I was also grossed out. It was fun, no denying that. So many jammers trying to make Witcher 3 in two days. Good to see someone keeping it real.

Maybe you could expand upon this concept and insert things into additional orifices in the future. Just a thought. Again, thanks for making this game. Great job.

Haha, I loved the "oh yeaaaaah" effect. I swear, the guy got swab murdered on level 5, that was insane. You put together a nice piece of game considering you only had 4 hours put in. This one definitely gets a high humor score :slight_smile:

Really great job scoping everything. The little details like having the ear/face shake depending which you hit were nice. Gameplay is quick and makes you really want to finish all 5 levels. Just enough challenge :D. I enjoyed it a lot!!

I *toooootally* obeyed the safety warnings on the back of the cotton swab package. There's *no way* I could have hit someone's head with cotton swabs over and over again, and then inserted the cotton swab entirely into their head via their ear canal.

Such a fun game, enjoyed it a lot!

Having different pain exclamations, separate shakes for head and ear impacts, as well as the cotton swabs bouncing off made missing almost more fun than actually winning :D
