Terminal Decension
Take a dive into the world of extreme mining. Grab your gun and jump, dodge, and shoot your way to victory.
Well avoiding the falls during your free fall, you will be tasked with collecting as much gold as possible. The only logical way to do this is grab your favorite type of gun and start shooting everything. Be warned though some miner setup traps to protect their shafts from other miners.
The game does not have an end and will proceed to loop after 5 levels. Also sometimes when switching guns they will run into a bug where they permanetly stop firing, the only fix is to restart.
WASD to move
Left mouse to fire
123 to switch weapons once purchased
Hold shift to deploy the 1 time use parachute to slow down

@mero I am glad you are having fun, unfortunately to submit on time there was lots of bugs that were ignored. Thank you for playing it means a lot.

It is a good game, graphics and sound are very good. I had a good time playing it. Good job!

Great entry! It was pretty fun to play and the gameplay reminded me a lot of starfox 64. I think with some iteration you could have a fun game on your hands

@frozenfire92 Thanks for the feedback, I think it is worth iterating some. I have to refresh my memory a bit on starfox, see if I can't take some design cues from it. Thanks for the suggestion.

Love the idea and the upgrades, I had fun playing it! Would be cool to have explosives hehe.

@sheol I agree, I really wanted to include some form of explosives, if not multiple kinds, but alas I did not have time.

Mining with a gun while falling is such a cool idea. It has bugs, but the game is fun. Well done.

I grew up around mining. Nailed it. I spent so much time mining. Love the difficulty ramp-up.

Very fun gameplay. I found the screenshake a little unpleasant, but I do think it's good that there's a lot of feedback from shooting. It's all very satisfying. Great job!

@danceswe that's super cool, that you grew up around mining, I hhave had a chance to tour an old mine and it was super cool.
@seebass22 I wish i had some time to add adjustments for user comfort. if i expand on this game i will let users turn off or lower the screenshake

That was pretty fun. The controls and shooting mechanics were slick and the music was well made. Great game!

@tinykidtoo Every year we had a field trip to the local mine. It was the only option for a non-nature field trip in driving distance. Except for the lead/zinc smelter.

@refrax295 I am glad you liked the music, I was happy with it, but had to rush it so it was not quite where I wanted it to be.
But it bugged for me
i ended the level with quadro shotgun and when i jumped to next one i had pistol/minigun amo and shotgun and couldnt shot at all?
