Description
You've stumbled upon hints of a conspiracy within the city, one that will shortly enact a plan to give it permanent control of everything. You don't know who's pulling the strings, and nobody will believe you anyway without proof.
You must investigate the various groups throughout the city and find proof that links them to the conspiracy. Doing so will also delay their plans slightly, but you will need to prove two links to whoever the true master is, in order to disclose the truth and stop the plans.
Features
- Randomly-generated conspiracy tree, different each time you play
- Adjustable conspiracy board, move notes around as you see fit
- Narrative-driven gameplay
- Music that ramps up as the conspiracy deepens
Tips
- Remember to sleep! Acting while out of energy adds fatigue, which gradually increases your chance to fail any action, and it may take multiple sleeps to get rid of all fatigue. (If the sound is muffled at all, you still have fatigue.)
- Any group with a string attached is definitely part of the conspiracy and will eventually yield proof of one kind or another. Unattached groups are still worth investigating if you have free time though.
- Red string means the link isn't proven yet, while green string means it is.
- Any time you find evidence, it increases the chance that the next evidence you find will be the proof. Likewise, any time you fail at an action, it increases the chance that you will succeed at the action next time.
- All links have a master and a puppet. Puppet groups are the ones completed with a checkmark when the link is proven. This will help you determine which way is deeper on the tree.
- You don't need the entire tree to win; you only need to prove the two links to the true master when you find them.
