I don't know what I just played but I love it. Controls are difficult and there are collision issues, but the game is short enough that I powered through. The artstyle and weirdness levels are through the roof!
Dude this is so insane, I love it. You know it kinda reminds me of some Jeff Koons art or something whacky. The game mechanics kinda remind me a bit of how the ninja rope works in Worms. This game also looks like a computer AI tried to design it - I think that's a good thing. Also, are those hamburgers?
Very crazy experience. Great use of various pictures and textures. Feels very difficult to control though, maybe make the jump a little higher so its easier to start the grapple. Well done :)
It was really weird, but I like it! Specially voices. I think it game can get high place on sound design rating!

This is definitely unique. The use of the voice synthesizer was cool, and I sorta like the wacky graphics/sound/feel. As some others have mentioned though, it's pretty hard to control. Thanks for an interesting game.
Love your style! The embracing of strangeness has always been something I'm drawn to, and I think you did a good job doing that! The developing story was a great motivation to keep going through the stage even as I kept dying - even if some of the deaths felt like they could've been avoided if the controls were tweaked to allow more tight and precise movement.
Graphically, I your the use of unconventional textures and animation, it really lends your game a unique visual. It seemed like the music dynamically added more layers as I got further down - great touch. Overall you did a good job on this!
Was the "you are not a human" text read in norwegian google translate btw? I thought I could hear a norwegian accent in that voice hahaha
Thanks for all the nice comments everybody! I agree that the controls could probably been made a little smoother to not punish some random things. I think it even punishes lag sometimes which is really a shame. I'm considering introducing a nightmare mode, and I'll probably try to tweek the physics at the same time to make it all a bit more fair.
@jakobthequizguy Yes! Norwegian! Tried to find something sounding just the correct amount of bad when reading english. As a Swede I probably find it more fun than anyone else does though. But, oh well.
@corbeng yeah, I might even try allowing the grapple grounded and so that that makes you also jump or something. Was trying it but that introduced additional collision wankness, so I gave up. I'll give it another go!
@pookipoot Lasagna! Trivia note is that almost all graphics except the main character are generated from an image of a lasagna. And yes! Worms rope was the major inspiration gameplaywise!
When I looked at the description I thought... why you hurt me & yourself. Then I played it... and agreed. Though after my play through I found myself. Only 43 of something in 5:11 of something. It's like worms on acid. Thanks for making it, it's one I wont forget :D
- What in the actual is that? - Don't approach without a beer, two and some other injections to your body - Living in Norway as immigrant, I immediately sensed Norwegian/Finnish humor there 😅 - Experience on it's own - Funky sounds - Main character is... unique
I won't write cons. This game is 'a piece of art' and art can be very subjective to score. Would post it at Munch Museum in Oslo.
What a weird game (in a good way)! I didn't get too far, as some of the jumps were tough, but the art and sound effects were cool and unique. Nice work!

Just maybe a bit better controls.
Thank you for having nightmares today 😂
