Insane game, very hard to critique something this downright mad... I think I would have liked more of a focus and a goal, and the gun itself doesn't feel very fun to use... Perhaps random weapons with random stats constantly swapping could have made it a bit more fresh but... well this game is what it is, definitely an experience.

Super fun and fast-paced and funny! I really liked it, no gripes at all! The "Click to Play" at the beginning sent me into a nostalgia spiral i'll never recover from. xD

Fun game, it is a plus for me because I like cats. You could have added more feedback on the stats and mutation. Other than that, keep working on your skills and keep up the good work.

Really dope there's a lot of other cool stuff you could do with the mutations like explosive bullets, split shot, knockback, maybe a mutation can make you spawn bombs too xD Keep up the good work, this was a lot of fun to play and I loved the character!

I struggled to tell what I was suppoed to do in the game. After destroying 30+ enemies, the game appeared to implode on itself and take the browser along with it. It was... interesting? :joy:

Well, this was chaos! Got to 145, but half of that was spent underground, then I ran off the map on the left side -- even the physics are unstable!

Man, this was something else. I think you managed to put together a nice balance of progression and RNG. The mounting complications with the physics system and frame rate almost felt intentional, so great job there. The general feel of the gun firing and knockback was really good, and I think in general this was super fun to play. Overall, maybe a little more generosity with the randomisation would have been appreciated, not to mention just more constraints on the design space.

Secret ending: I shot myself up into a corner for a while and then through the map, now I fall forever.

One of the most ridiculous games I've played so far. I think at one point my gun had a clip size of 420 and I was just spamming left click flying around on the ceiling. I think my highest score was around 28 or so. Absolutely hilarious!

Oh man, absolute masterpiece! The game just oozes fast-paced janky charm all the way through. Love the scaling of difficulty, I even love that I was able to levitate, basically I had no idea what was going on, but the premise was explained and so simple, I didn't mind :) It's a shame about the sound as that would elevate this game to a whole other level (I didn't hear any sounds, even though I read a comment here about running sound, so maybe a problem at my end)

@drunk-wizard what os do you use? if you dont have windows i can try to release a executable build for you. but if you do have windows i suggest playing the windows build, and if audio doesnt work on that then play the web build

@rextgun ah yes, it was the web build, in all the frantic gameplay I overlooked I can download the game :X thank you for your reply, and yes, it is definitely much better with sound :D I tried working with audio in Unity, didn't watch any tutorials but still, my audio feels like it's off, your enemy sounds however stack very well together, they don't create that cacophonic super sound I am used to from my work :D my high rating still stands :)

It's ok, but not polished. Seems like you wasted a lot of time to program routine stuff, you should try to use engines.

oh i used a engine! godot to be specific, just wasted alot of time jacking off and being exhausted.

A surprisingly fun game! I'm not sure what does being a cat have to do with anything, or what were the objects attacking me, but I shot a bunch. Good shooting mechanics! My favourite part was waiting to get a quick reload, then moving in the air using the recoil mechanic.

Is there an endgame, or is it just about killing as many enemies as you can?

What a ride. I love the aesthetic of the game, and the chaotic moment to moment gameplay. Highest score I was able to get was 29 (earned legitimately with blood sweat and tears) and got a tophat. Only thing I'd say that could have been improved on was the UI for the player stats. Every 10 seconds I had to check my stats to check if my reload speed was good enough to actually try fighting it out, and it took me a little bit every time. Great game though, glad to have played it.

I liked the glitchy music and the recoil mechanics. Graphics were the level of "so bad it's good".

Unbalanced mutation mechanics gave something to adjust to every once in a while. You could even strategize a little bit by being in somewhere safe when the mutations happen.

Anyway, this game was very unexpectedly positive surprise :D

This...game...is... AWESOME !!!! Well done, very cool concept, would make for a very nice stream game if for example chat on twitch can select the randomization / weaponry / enemies. This was pure instability at its core, matching the theme in a very meta way... WELL done, thank you for making this !

As I said on stream, that was a much much better experience than I was expecting given the obviously shitposty aesthetic it was going for - usually games like that have an equally "deliberately bad" gameplay loop. However it's clear to see how much thought and design had gone into the game feel as the gunplay was surprisingly satisfying and improved in half a dozen ways that weren't immediately obvious to me until I took a second. The sound effect for the gunshot is really nice, the camera movement, the particle effects were both very satisfying and so did the time slow during kills which added a moment of much-needed clarity to the current situation. It even felt nice to die.

I also successfully found the cabbage, though as I could not ride it I would consider this game unplayable. (only joking it's great fun, well done)

I enjoyed the shooting mechanics, even the odd numbers (420, 69 etc) were funny.

no idea what the goal of the game is but i enjoyed it a lot lmfao. great feedback on shooting people and the mechanics made it fun to just fly around, good interpretation of theme and very creative, I enjoyed the windows crash sound on starting the level, added a lot to the mood. good graphics and audio, even though you opted out of them picking the audio to match with your game is still a skill so good job on that. maybe make it more straightforward next time but well done!

so I'd say I just played windows xp themed bizarre anime cat. And I absolutely liked it! I mean flying with a gun shoots was so cooool. And then everything started blowing up! And then 420 bullets and then!! then!! Then I was dead.. But the very moment before it was so great!
