Did a remake / improved version of my first Ludum Dare game (Ludum Dare 37 back then on the old page)
It is a humble 4X Game, where the individual planet's allegiance to their Star Realm are fluctuating.

code has ben vastly reengineered, improved and expanded, althogh it is still bug infested :(
almost any grafic (except the resources) are replaced, and many more, especially variatons, were added.

basic controls:
- Use mouse (mostly lmb) to interact with game elements
- when a fleet or other force is selected, it can be send to its destination by right mouse button
- esc = close application immediatelly
- f2 = restart game (return to main menu)
- f4 = toggle fullscreen

Hints:
- to win, either you need to get a population of at least 500 or eleminate all enemy colonies
- (currently) the AI just pretends to play the game, you are not under pressure, you can play both sides (against your self) in the hotseat mode
- every unit of population digests one unit of food each round
- (currently) only fleets can directly take over a planet
- a fleet has AP (Action Points) and FTL, both are refreshed every turn, every movement cost 1 AP, movement between stars also cost 1 FTL
- in order to send a fleet from planet to planet, select a fleet & send it by rightclicking on a another planet
- a fleet has a limited range for travel via FTL (between stars), although it can move to any point inside it's range
- planets have a maximum population of 10
- planet's loyality are rated from 0 to 10, and shown as a bar under a Planet in the Starsystem screen
- a planets loyality is shifting every turn, but this can be influenced
- planets conquered by a Starfleet will have a low loyality to their new ruler.
- planets with loyality of 50% or higher tend do reduce approval less
- armies (tank symbol) prevent a planet to become neutral & boosts loyality growth until it reaches 30%
- agents eventually increase loyality,( & can turn neutral planets overtime (when they reach full loyality) ... it's planned feature)
- technologies are not implemented, yet

Bugs (currently known):
- buildings can be constructed over each over, although a tile can only remember one type, so resources can be wasted
- fleets that a positioned over each over are still tricky to seperate...
- you can interupt the ai's turn by simply using the turn button ... oh dear
- prices for buildings were lies, except industry, they're honest
- you need/should close the planet gui before closing the starsystem's one, or the planet's economy is not updated to the player HUD (resources top left)
