From visuals to sound design to innovative idea and mechanics - this was great!

Great job! The music and sounds really fit the game, which has a good concept.

- would have been really interesting to be able to tire out the farmer on the last day by keeping him running for a long time... but eventually nothing happens and it get boring... and we just let it happen.
- gameplay was interesting
- gameplay worked well for a jam gam
- graphics, music, sfx were all coherent and worked well.

Great work as usual, guys, loved it!

First time caught me off guard, good thing I'm no chicken.

The art is well done in my opinion, only thing I'd say is I expected the environment to interact more - I did some ankle breakers around the rocks, until I noticed we can actually go through them.

But overall a fun game and a great submission, well done!

@guy-girmonsky At first we intended the rocks to be obstacles but it caused a bunch of problems, both chickens and farmer would hit it awkwardly, especially the ones that are near the edges of the fence. So we decided to keep them as visual only.

Hilarious game - from the farmer's outstretched arms to the chicken clucks to the excellent music. Having kited the farmer around quite a lot I do believe he really is hungry so the outcome is not so bad.

Nice work! This was funny and cute. It took me a while to realize the trick to avoiding the farmer was to change directions a lot. But I made it in the end! Till the last day..

Great little arcade game. I wasn't too sure why excatly my chicken slowed down a bit ( stamina maybe ? ) and I thought the dust clouds under his legs meant that the farmer was interested in him. I liked that there weren't any indicators to show who the farmer was chasing though ( maybe the dust clouds were the indicator, but I'm still not sure ). This actually kept a nice amount of tension in the game ( kinda made it a horror game in a few ways when the tension got a little high lol ). Cool little arcade entry

Very well polished and intuitive. I found myself directing the farmer to my poultry brethren to save myself. The hardest choices require the strongest wills.

How do you outrun a farmer? You don't, you outrun the chicken next to you :wink:

Really Great Game!! Graphics and Music fit really well.

I love how it connects with the theme and has a natural difficulty progression as each day passes.

Reminds me of that story about the chasing wild bear: "I don't need to outrun the bear, just outrun you"

Cool, I got to the end I guess. The last chicken standing! Don't know if it was strategy or a bug but circling the farmer will never get you caught. Overall a nice entry. The art was really good with the animations of the chicken and the dust. The music really set the farm mood too. Good work!

It is however possible to survive forever on the last day by just walking in a small cirlce around the farmer. It seems the exhaustion is reset after some time, although I'm still running. Which might be a bug?

cute, FUNNY, simple, and polished. good work. for something so simple, this is genuinely enjoyable. you nailed the handling on the chicken; manoeuvring around the farmer to sacrifice the other chickens instead is tense and skill-based.

Well, the end was quite predictable... Great game, I liked playing it. The graphics is great, and country music adds much to the overall atmosphere!

Really great game. Love the graphics and audio. It's super simple but it does everything it needs to do in order to be fun!

Simple but very funny! I reached day 7 and after 5 min of turning around I decided to let the farmer catch me :cry: It's unevitable!

I enjoyed this, especially how the number of chickens gets gradually whittled down over time and it naturally becomes harder and harder to get the farmer to snatch one of them instead of you. The graphics and sound give it a pleasantly light-hearted tone, considering this is a game where you're tricking your friends into being killed and eaten in your place.

I don't know whether this is an intentional feature or not, but your movement speed seems to really vary. You'll be running away from the farmer and all of a sudden you'll slow to a crawl. It's still possible to avoid him if you know what you're doing, but I found it rather annoying and would prefer if your movement was more consistent. That's my only real gripe, though. Good job overall!

The pixel art was great, and the music really matched the aesthetic! I loved how the gameplay matched the theme as well, I got to the end and it was truly delaying the inevitable.
