Color Entropy

Really excellent twist on the theme, I admittedly had trouble understanding what I was doing but the overall aesthetic is very nice!

This is a really unique take on the theme. This is probably the best use of the theme I've seen so far. I agree with you as I don't really think winning or losing in an arcade game is truly inevitable, and I think entropy is an interesting take on this.

I wasn't sure about how to play other that mindlessly clicking on the central row ^^U But I liked the atmosphere! Cool entry!

Really interesting idea. I don't think I've ever seen this mechanic done before. The graphics may be simple, but they get the job done really nicely.

Very unique idea in a nice polished package. Would have liked to see more iteration on the initial idea maybe with other colors/mechanics, but it's a really cool concept.

Pretty neat little game that takes on the theme in a unique way. The music and graphics fit together in a satisfying way. Like the developer says in the description though, there is very little incentive to keep playing the game once you figure out the limits of the possibilities. The concept might be further developed into a more sophisticated puzzle game outside the confides of the Jam theme. Good job

Maybe controls are a little complicated (I mean, I think only up/down is sufficent, but maybe I'm just a bad strategist)
And this is funny, isn't it the reverse of the theme ? Like, you speed up the inevitable entropy !

I actually can imagine this being a somewhat educational game for teaching the basics of entropy in our surroundings. And in this context the lack of replayability is not even a problem :D

it's visually pretty interesting, gaining or losing points felt totally random to me. i could keep clicking on two squares, and sometimes i would lose points, other times i would gain points. at no point did i feel like i had control or understanding of the points. i understand the theory of the game, to gain points my moving pixels to the other side, but in practice, it just felt random.

@sakura-magika when clicking two squares, they get mixed. If one was very red and the other very orange, then many pixels will have to change sides for the result to be mixed. However, if the squares were already pretty mixed, then in average no pixels will change side (or rather, the number of pixels going one way is more or less the same as the number of pixels going the other way)
