Don't Drink and Dive is a story about an adventurous band of women, who travel to another planet in order to party on a boat. What starts as fun and games quickly turns serious when the first woman to go for a swim realizes that the alien water is a little more hostile than anticipated - the water surface is "one way", meaning once you've jumped in, there's no way back out again.

Spend your time under water wisely and find ways to delay your inevitable demise by locating oxygen bubbles and collecting useful pickups. While you can't be saved, maybe you can at least prevent your friends from following the same fate.

Controls:

- Enter for title screen and sequences
- Arrow keys to swim
- Shift to dash (once you have swim fins)
- ESC for pause menu

Known Issues:

- ~~After dying, your items are supposed to be teleported to right beneath your ship so you can pick them up with the next person - this doesn't always work and some items get lost. Unintentional and will be fixed!~~
- some render order flickering issues
- a bunch of small not overly important bugs
- there may still occur a few crashes... but hopefully not - please let us know if you encounter anything undesirable! (apart from the sharks, they're part of the vacation package)

A few things we're proud of:
- wholly original art by our two artists @thecoconutdream and @fluffyou
- infinite on-the-fly procedurally generated world - every playthrough will be different
- huge number of different alien plants and fish types, many with unique behaviors and player interactions
- physics and collision detection was fully self written within 72 hours

Music and sound are not our's, but taken from the internet, hence the opt-out.

Written in Typescript/HTML, using a self made game engine.

Updates:
- Fixed a few bugs, including the "items do not respawn beneath ship" one, as well as a rendering issue with the ship (accidentally used earlier iterations of some images that caused an inconsistency with the ship transform animation)

Enjoy! And feel free to share screenshots of the most peculiar places you've found in this randomly generated world. :)
