In this game you have to try and Save Dave.

You are the immune system of a man by the name Dave, you have to keep him safe killing the viruses before they reach his brain. Once the viruses reach his brain it is game over.

How to play

(Not necessary to read, the game has a built-in tutorial).

When you hold the cursor over Dave you can see all his bloodveins and muscles. As the game progresses Dave will have a lot of accidents giving him wounds. You can heal these wounds either by clicking , or by pressing 'Q' on your keyboard. The wounds will start spawning viruses, you can click the viruses to stop them before they reach any muscles. If they reach muscles you will have to disinfect the muscles either by clicking or by pressing 'W' on your keyboard. Infected muscles will spawn even more viruses.

If the viruses make their way all the way to Dave's brain, he will die. If Dave dies, it is game over. Your score is Dave's age by the end of the game.

Disclaimer for after jam development.

While everything was made during ludum dare, at the time of submission there are massive lagspikes in the end-game due to the way I'm rendering the sprites. I already know a fix for this and will implement it after submission. I will not be adding any new content however.

The lagspikes exist only because I did not give myself enough time to build up an engine before the ludum dare gamejam. As I don't wish to use pre-existing engines in general but like writing my own.

In the future the links below might not work as I re-arrange the repo, so going through the source link is probably the best bet at finding the game after voting has stopped.
