In this retro themed game, you are stuck in a shifting office building, and you always find yourself back in the starting room when you die, or run out of time.

Story: You've been casing this office block for a while now. As you break in, alarms go off, guards rushing around, and A strange man in a lab coat runs away. You grab the closet thing you can find, An hourglass. Odd.
You find yourself in a small room, with a large, locked door to your left, with 3 padlocks on it. There is also a series of rooms to your right. You will have to fight your way through the rooms, get to the boss, and take his key. After each boss is killed, the journey will get longer and harder. Good luck.

Fun concept of the game. The mechanics worked as advertised. I found it tough to see where the enemies were in some of the levels. This adds to the difficulty of the game which is nice. But even after knowing I'd have to run in and center myself to be able to see who I am shooting at, I was still finding it difficult to dodge bullets from separate angles. The challenge was nice, I just find it frustrating to die from things outside of my control.

I enjoyed this! I think the bullets could maybe stand to be a bit bigger, cause aiming is a bit hard, but aside from that this is a solid and fun shooter!

Very fun game! Had me playing for many rounds until I figured inflation is just too hard to beat! why is everything so expensive :((

409 kills, 26 deaths, 37 fire extinguishers. Wow, I had a blast! I think I played for 30+ minutes. It was so fun to circle strafe around goons, and shoot everything up. The money was coming in so painfully slowly, I felt like I could never afford anything. I ended up buying 2-3 health, an uzi, a shotgun (sucks), a damage upgrade, and a rifle (best). I wish I could afford the bigger guns. Also, it was unfortunate that when I picked up a key, the money that was on the floor was not auto-picked up. Really good job getting these Doom and Diablo vibes into a game in such short time. Twas really fun and action packed. Thanks for the game.

@ubershmekel thanks for the long review! Yeah, we had a few oversights, like we should have made the money worth more at later stages. Also considering adding a second upload with unlimited money so people can just mess around with it!

Nice game, enjoyed killing all the dudes, just need a little bit more money. I only took the UZI and damage upgrade, would take a long time to farm for better weapons :smile: Overall great experience, music made this much better.

Really fun and super impressive how much you manage to do in such a short time. Loved the aesthetic of the game, it looked really nice. Also felt really satisfying when I finally got the uzi.

Fun game, I enjoyed the shooting mechanics, but its a bit of a grind to get any of the upgrades. I only bought the uzi and one time upgrade.
I get quite a jarring stutter when the world resets, but that may just be the web version.
It could do with a way to mute the music after you start the game.

Great game. Maybe it's just me but I felt like money and upgrades are too slow to be achieved during the beginning. I feel like the game would benefit by giving the player a quicker insight into the upgrades system, get them real hooked you know? Overall a good time though, I like the gameplay loop and the randomized map.

This game is really hard! Sometimes the enemies were hidden behind open doors, that made it even harder. :grin: But I had fun nevertheless. The controls are smooth and I like the office aesthetics and the mysterious story. As a metal head I also appreciate the music. :metal: Played the download version, web version didn't load for me.
