The Last Ritual

What's is the game about

It's a puzzle game, mostly about finding "password" words.

The goal is to summon the Ancient One.

Controls

* Move with wasd
* Jump with space
* Interact with left click

Help!

The game is perhaps too hard. Here are some clues if you get stuck:

0. General gameplay
* Each symbol correspond to a letter
* If the symbols form the correct word, the middle button works like a switch (3 of the consoles at the beggining already have their word entered)
* The order in which symbol buttons are pressed does not matter.
* There are no puzzle or clues outside the temple, stay inside.

1. The four consoles in the entrance
* !> There is a cipher key hidden somewhere (try turning on and off the 3 activated consoles.
* !> Once you know what are the words of the 3 activated consoles, the word of the fourth one should be easy to find.

2. The console on the right platform.
* !> The word is related to the symbol on the wall.
* !> The word is WR___

3. The console on the left platform
* !> Solve 2. to get a clue.
* !> The word is R__T
* !> It needs something to float on! (remember previous consoles)

4. The console on the back platform
* !> When you type a word, it's added to the list on the wall
* !> You need to find the 2 +++highlithed+++ words
* !> If you found the 2 words and nothing is happening, try to enter them again

Tools and assets

* Engine: Unity
* Code: all gameplay related code was made during the jam
* Graphics: all models were made during the jam (blender)
* Audio: all audio was made during the jam (foley edited with audacity)
* Shaders: custom shaders, not made during the jam

Post jam fixes:

* A bug making jumps inconsistent was fixed
* The glitchy and inconsistent mouse controls was fixed.
