LEAF SLURPERS - tiny creatures

I really enjoyed the art. The bug designs and the animated background are very nice, and the faces the bugs make when they slurp are cute : )

I slurped and felt good about it!

Simple gameplay loop but very nice nonetheless. Really like the art style. Bit annoying that the wasp soundeffects stacked on eachother and demolished my ears after a while. But it's game jam, some bugs are expected

It took me a while to wrap my head around what to do, but it was nice and fun experience afterwards

Very cute art! I really liked the faces in the droplet enemies and the parallax effect on the background.

The menu says "S or E" to slurp but for some reason E didn't work for me so I spent sometime playing without slurping haha. Maybe some indicators in-game when you first spawn would also be nice.

I really liked this. It's an unusual gameplay loop and was pretty fun. I could have done with things getting significantly more difficult as we progressed, maybe some new enemies or obstacles - but I had fun trying to get a high score.

One of my favorite games I've played this jam, simple and fun and the art was fantastic.

I liked how the "enemies" (the water drop, the wind indicator leaf, even the bug's back) had evil/skull faces on them (I didn't notice any markings on the wasps, but everyone already know wasps are evil 😅)

Wow! What a hidden gem! This game seems to have it all-stunning graphics that truly make me feel immersed in the world of these tiny creatures absorbing the juice. The music perfectly complements the visuals, and the controls are smooth and responsive. The game is full of charming details, like that skull-faced droplet, which I absolutely loved. For me, this is a solid entry that definitely deserves more attention. Great game!

This is a really wonderful game! The graphics are adorable and the gameplay mechanics are simple and fun, and can be punishing too if you aren't careful when slurping the leaves. I had a situation where I accidentally destroyed my platform and ended up falling off into my doom :') That's super dangerous, but I love the whole risk / reward feeling that it gives you.

Awesome submission! It has it all, it's fun, cute, delightful, feels pretty polished, great visuals. No complaints here. I'm not sure if it's something that could turn into a larger game one day, but it's great for some quick play high-score chasing. Great job!
