Ludum Dare #57compo
Clock In
Link to HTML5 - Itch.io
(I could not make the game work on LD's site, try playing full screen on itch.io)
For this jam, I tried something new, a more narrative driven game.
I usually don’t add any story to my projects, so this was a big challenge...
CLOCK IN is a slow descent into routine, apathy, and loss of control.
You play a worker. Your job is to evaluate emotions and keep the CALM.
At first, you're in control. Eventually... maybe not.
I hope you enjoy.
Thanks for playing.
Used Aseprite and Paint.Net for graphics
Audacity for audio (mainly to process, cut, loop, fade and convert audio)
Godot as main engine

I agree with some people here: this can be considered art
It's very atmospheric and i love the use of gameplay (taking away a player choice) as a storytelling method. Very innovative!
Especially the fact, that the train slowly turns to gray / loses color.
