Introduction

Memory Duel is a memory game or matching game where the players flip pieces on the board and compete to be the first to fill one of the color bars. The game was made for the Ludum Dare 58 game jam as a Jam Entry.

Instructions

Click on the pieces on the board to flip them. The pieces are checked after two of them have been flipped. Try to remember and match two pieces that have identical color and symbol. Every time either player finds a match the corresponding color bar of that player is advanced. The first player that is able to fill one of the color bar wins. Have fun!

Note: when there are only two pieces left on the board, the board will be cleared and refilled.

Credits

All game design and programming done by me (exigo).

The following 3rd party assets were used:

Implementation Details

This game was made with Godot Engine 4.4.1. Some graphics were done with GIMP. Since nearly all of the graphics were done by someone else than me and the game contains no audio, I've opted out of the those rating categories. The (dumb) computer-controlled opponent doesn't currently remember any of the previous pieces.
