This game combines my two favorite genres: tree punchers and gem magnet games. It was inspired by the wood cutting life from Fantasy Life i.
I worked on this game with my 2 kids (9 and 12). They did a lot of the design and voice acting.
Most of the art was made with Gemini. The sound effects are from freesound.com and Splice. The music was composed by Suno. I wish I could write music as good as the AIs.
I used a custom game engine I’ve been tinkering with for the last few years. It’s C++ with emscripten for the web build.
I love the Extra format! It’s the only way I can make a game with everything in my life. I worked a little each night for 2 weeks and put in about 20 hours.
