About the game
I worked on this game with my 2 kids (10 and 12). They did a lot of the design and most of the puns.
I've been totally getting into Claude Code recently and Claude wrote pretty much all the code for this game. It's amazing to do AI coding!
Most of the art was made with Gemini and a lot of Photoshop love. The sound effects are mostly from Splice. The music was composed by Suno. I wish I could write music as good as the AIs.
I used a custom game engine I’ve been tinkering with for the last few years. It’s C++ with emscripten for the web build.
I love the Extra format! It’s the only way I can make a game with everything in my life. I worked a little each night for 2 weeks and put in about 40 hours. Yeah... this is the most hours I've put into an LD game. I try to limit myself to the same number of hours one might put into a jam game, but I was having too much fun this time!
