Bugs From Home
You run a repair shop on an alien planet. The locals bring in old human gadgets that broke down with age. They do not understand human tech, so they can only tell you what they saw.
Find the bug yourself and fix the firmware on the shop computer. Read the datasheets, edit the assembly, and flash the device. Then ring the bell. The customer tries the device. If it still fails, they hand it back and pay less for each failed try. After three failed tries, they take it home broken.
Earn enough to pay the rent. Buy new datasheets to take on more jobs.
The web version needs a browser with WebGPU support.

Really cool entry! I loved the concept and the overall mood you’ve created here. The gameplay feels very neat and engaging for a short jam game. Well done to the team! Left my ratings.

It's been a while since I used assembler in real life.
Interesting game, although it lacks content, and the tasks are mostly the same with the wrong memory cell chosen or something.
I made it to the first rent payment, but at some point the C button got stuck pressed, so I worked blindely without testing. I even thought it was some kind of mechanic, but apparently just a bug.
Great idea and atmospheric game. It could be expanded and made into a step by step tutorial for beginner programmers, bringing in more and more complex devices for repair.

The music, the dim lighting, and the retro machinery create such a perfect atmosphere! I’m so glad I got to play this game—it was a wonderfully enjoyable experience.

This game is a nice fit for a fellow programmer :)
I really have no feedback to give, i would initially say that this is most likely very hard for non programmers but then again this is a Ludum Dare so this is the perfect place to get the right players that would enjoy this type of game, including myself.
Really well made, thank you and best of luck!
