Lucky Lighter
A quick little game inspired by the short story "Man From The South" by Roald Dahl. I've wanted to make this one for awhile now, very happy I got the chance to work on it and plan to keep refining it in the near future. Thanks for looking and hope you enjoy.

Ha, he tends to do that. For the music I use Figure by Propellerhead. It tends to be my go to app before sleeping. Making little loops is a bunch of fun.

I really like the mood in this, the art and music are great, would love to see it extended. Is the gameplay just luck or did i miss something, though?

The gameplay is all luck. Every time you try the lighter it randomly chooses to light or not. I'm going to rewrite it tho because it's really messy in there right now.

I liked how I somehow managed to wonder whether there was a good way of clicking to light my lighter:).

That lighter wasn't so lucky. But I love the art. I think it would have added very slightly to have the players voice enacted as well, but wow for art and feel.

Really well presented there, it had an amazing ambiance, and was genuinely tense, I loved it!
And I agree with ostromoldave, you start to wonder if there's a 'trick' or some pattern you can use to increase your chances. Like the old 'down + a' to catch Pokemon thing :P

Haha, really loved how you are pressurised by the knife !! My pinkie !! Also really nice looks and graphics. Gameplay is simplistic, but that fits well to the game.

This is really awesome. Great execution, art, and story adaptation.
(Also, I loved Tarantino's rendition of this story in Four Rooms. Highly recommended.)

Really twisted game (in a good way!). The story shines, and the graphics and audio are fantastic. I want more games like this!
I love the sound track, where did you get it from or what did you make the music with?
