Into the Abyss is a __digging-focused__ platformer where exploration goes straight down. Your mission: __reach the bottom__, __uncover the truth__ behind the abyss, and do it as fast as you can, after all you can get a worth treasure. But be careful, watch out for those treacherous __traps__ set by who knows anyway.
___Dig Your Own Path___: Break through dirt, stone, and ancient ruins with your pickaxe. You decide where to go—no set paths, no shortcuts.
___Find Hidden Treasures___: Scattered along the descent are lost treasure chests filled with rare materials, secrets, and boosts. Getting them isn't easy—but it’s worth it.

_Patch #2: Bug fixes and a little polish - April 12th, 2025_
- Fixed the __floaty feels__ in player movement, improve __jump input__ to be more responsive.
- Health potions now __no longer__ apply unwanted knock-backs.
- Spikes now try to push player to either sides if player landing on top of them.
- Camera now follows ahead of player if he descends faster than its move speed.
- Player now can properly fit through 1-tile horizontal gaps.
_Patch #1: Minor adjustments - April 8th, 2025_
- Adjust volume for a couple of sound effects.
- Player can now jump with both __Space__ and __W__ keys.
- Make __imperial__ to be the default metric type.
- The injured sound effect now only plays if the player has more than 0 HP.
- The digging sound effect now only plays if the player is digging a diggable tile.
