PyOpenGL and py2exe?

Well, that's "darkness" done...
.. trying to think of a decent game for the theme. Got an idea almost straight away, but it's not very good and I can't get it out of my head. I guess I'll just keep…
This screenshot shows the tiled map with lighting (the yellow boxes are light sources).
Yes, this entry really is about as predictable and non-innovative as you can get :(
OK, so I've got this idea for a game, and it's probably lame, but here goes...
Now I've got ghosts (when they're not lit, you can just see their eyes ;) and you can repair damaged lights. The "Repairing..." window obscures the view of the player…
I've got the basic Ghost AI going now - they avoid being in light, and hunt and destroy lights. The sequence below illustrates:
I've officially written a complete game now (you compete against the computer, and it detects whether you win or lose). So far the out-of-game interaction is just:
I changed my rendering this morning to use a more optimised rendering algorithm (aka don't draw the whole screen each frame) and my frame rate jumped from 13 to around…
Well, I got the per-pixel movement code working. Collision of player with tiles is quite dodgy and needs rewriting. Ghosts don't collide with anything yet, which is no good.
My game has sound fx! This is a first in three LD48 comps for me :)
Most of the game is done - I can spend tomorrow polishing and handling questions from people trying to submit their final entry ;)
My final source submission: ld48-6-final.tgz. Requires PyGame to run. Will be looking at py2exe'ing it now.
My final submission is in. The files:
