Since we lacked the time for adding a proper tutorial in-game, here’s a short video demonstrating the basics of our game :) You can try it for yourself here:…

Hi everyone,
This was the fourth time I tried to participate in LD and the only time I managed to find time and really do it. For me, it was a richful experience. Just like the…
Hey people, it’s been a few days since this LD has ended, and only today I managed to gather enough energy to do a Post Mortem. I’m gonna try not to make it too TL:DR;
I’m very excited to have successfully completed my second Ludum Dare! I’ve been working all week on implementing a lot of the feedback that I’ve been getting on my game…
All previous Ludum Dares that I’ve tried to participate in have failed miserably. For the first one I had no experience. For the second I had very little time. For the…
So this is where we share with you a little of the ‘behind-the-scenes’ crazy that happened during our Jam as we developed Spelunk!
Okay! It’s time for me to write some kind of a postmortem about Ludum Dare! I am not really used to writing stuff online, but when making Flail Rider I made surprisingly…
Hey everybody, so my team and I completed what would be my first ever ludum dare jam.
Having done 3D for my last entry as well as it being what I do for a living, I decided I wanted to give a 2D game a try. I’ve dabbled in 2D game sprites in the past…
Ludum Dare 32 is over and I survived lol There’s something demented about voluntarily participating in what’s basically “crunch mode” for no reason other than to make…
I teach computer science at a small liberal arts college, and this semester I have been leading 17 students in a course on game development with Unity. Ludum Dare 32 was…
I think it’s safe to say my ambitions were a little too high this time around, especially since I was originally planning to do the compo. But after crossing well into…
Last weekend I attended a hackathon at the University of Maryland, suffice to say I didn’t get much sleep. So when I realized that the Ludum Dare was happening the very…
Well after a few days of playing games and relaxing a little it’s time to write about what we did on our first ludumdare.
GameRoom is my 48 hours compo entry for LudumDare32. GameRoom takes place inside a flashy arcade theme park which is filled with multiple game arenas. Each game arena…
For Ludum Dare 32 my take on the them was a little… unconventional. I made a rail shooter (TANKED) where you start with a conventional gun and as the levels progress and…
Wow, this was already my fifth LudumDare (The first one was on a different account). And again, I had a blast! Its just such a cool feeling to know, that there are…
So this is my Post-Mortem for my LD32 compo game REVENGE OF THE CLONES
I don’t like lengthy post mortems, but for the sake of documenting things, here we go!
Hello this is the post-mortem for Legend of the Barber.
Going into Ludum Dare, I knew I wanted to make a shmup. I needed to come up with an unconventional weapon, though. I decided on carrots, and what better protagonist to…
Hey Ladies and Gentleman, I suppose I should join in and do a Post-Mortem of Starbinder.
Before going into the technical stuff, I want to share some of the things I have done that helps me a lot, a lot more that I would have thought.
For LD32 I knew I wanted to tackle the ultimate Classic Ludum Dare game: The 2d pixel art platformer with a cute and hopefully distinctive mechanic inspired by the…
Participating in a ludum Dare has always been a dream of mine .
I made a game, it’s called Ants. It’s a game where you ‘convince’ some ants to eat your friend’s sandwich.
Well then, it’s been a few days since the Ludum Dare, and I am relieved. The feedback on our game so far has been very good, other games have been fun to play to, and I…
Hey all,
This is a post-mortem for my Ludum Dare #32 compo entry, The Legend of the Yo-Yo Salesman.
So this was my first Ludum Dare and I think it has gone pretty well. I kept my idea simple and came out with a game I’m happy with.

I woke up on Saturday morning and the first thing I did was to check the LudumDare website for the LD theme.
