For LD-32 I made a game called “Fun with Vacuums”. I entered the Jam with no expectations and I am satisfied with the game I was able to produce. This is what I submitted.
For several categories, and in general, I think this is by far my best result in LD.
Hello fellow ludumites,
Wow, can’t believe 3 weeks have come and gone since I finished my first Ludum Dare. I really, really enjoyed the process and I’ve been giving it a lot of thought…
I spent a long time toying with my usual trying-to-be-too-clever-for-their-own-good weird, unusual game ideas linked to the theme before I asked myself half-jokingly if…
Play USB Hero
Thanks everyone for awesome ludum dare! For me this LD was more chaotic than the last one, all thanks to exams that I had. Never the less, I think that enjoyed it more…
Alright, it’s my third LD arleady, and i haven’t written any Post-mortem. i NEED to fix that. note: english is not my first language, so i’m sorry if there’s any gramatical error.
S-LAYER is my sixth Ludum Dare Game Jam entry, and my third successful entry in a row. It’s not the first shmup I’ve made; that distinction goes to Hitotsu – Last of the…
Rage the Stage was our 3 game and the first as a team of 3 people. We accepted the challenge “why not try something new“. So no Java and no Libgdx. A bigger challenge…
For my second Ludum Dare, with limited time, I did a pretty decent job. Slick was originally supposed to be a game about protecting your family’s land from corrupt…
My compo entry was unfinished, and my 4 “unconventional weapons” were not implemented. But all is not bad, and like always with this type of challenge, participating is…
How many of the 100 anagrams can you solve?
I’ve rated lot’s of games this LD. Maybe too much, but I had so much fun playing all those unfinished titles :)
We entered the LD32 Jam as our second jam (the last being LD28), and after three days of sleepless nights and good fun we came up with probably one of my favorite…
Hello Frinds from around the world.
Hello everyone! I finally complete my post mortem version of Battle Block Manager. I’ve done many upgrades to the first jam project and add some feature to balance the…
Play the game
I haven’t written up a post on this since it went up, so I figured I ought to do a postmortem at least. KADOOMERANG was an interesting project, even if it wasn’t my most…
Hello Guys, first off thanks to all the people who played my game so far, especially those who dropped me a line in the comments. If you haven’t played my game yet, here…
Our ludum dare 32 entry, Weathermage, was the rockiest submission I’ve ever done. It was incredibly ambitious, aiming to combine the gameplay of Divinity: Original Sin,…
*Where does the time go! it only seems like a week ago I submitted a game which I felt wasn’t to the best of my ability, and ventured on a mission to improve and fix a…
Hello fellow entrants. Here is a small retrospective of my Bubbles and Slugs submission.
With four days remaining we thought it might be high time for us to add our little post mortem for Puppet Guardian.
Once again into the fray. Once again writing about this awesome experience that Ludum Dare is.
Hello Jammers!
We already participated 8 times in the Ludum Dare jam, but this was the first time we had a dedicated pixel artist, Daniel! Also this was the first time we made a platformer.
As this was my first Ludum Dare, I thought it might be instructive for me to reflect a bit over the experience :-)
This is a post-mortem analysis of my first completed game jam entry Weapon Against Oblivion (a submission frequency of approx. 10*10^-10 Hz).
As a first time participant. My experience with the Ludum Dare has been bittersweet. Although reasonably well prepared, I had few expectations going in as to how I’d fare.
So it’s been a couple of weeks and I think I’m finally ready to put up a post-mortem for the game. (the game can be found here…
floats level 4
What even is this game? Basically it is a small roguelike (procedural generated maps, permadeath dungeon crawler) with weapon crafting and tactical, fully deterministic combat.
So… that was my 7th LD. The first thing that came to my mind when seeing the theme is to kill hordes of enemies with crazy random weapons like 10 ton weights and…
Hello all, I go by Boateye on the internet, but you can call me boateye, since we’re instant best friends!
First of all, I wanted to thank each and every person who’s taken the time out of their schedule to play through my ridiculous math adventure. The response has been…
Finally, Nightfall post-mortem :) After some problems, got the game submitted on time. First time on LudumDare!
If you haven’t played Star Power yet, you might be interested in checking it out here. It’s not spectacular, but most folks agree that it’s pretty novel, so you might…
I don’t like the word “Post mortem”. It indirectly implies that something is dead on delivery. A game comes alive first when it is played. That said, here are a few key…
Here is a post-mortem of my #LD32 entry called Weapon Regulator. Your are sent to a battlefield, and your mission is to seize any unconventional (i.e. illegal) weapon…
