Monsta Stelth Gem! (A Post Mortem)
Hello guys, here’s our obligatory ‘post-mortem’ from me & Foxel working as a team.
Time logs and post-mortems written by the authors of the games
Hello guys, here’s our obligatory ‘post-mortem’ from me & Foxel working as a team.
I made a game called Prison Break for LD33 for the theme of You are the Monster. Pre-dare, I made this snazzy spreadsheet about the top twenty candidate themes and…
I’m super happy to have “finished” my first game for LD after 3 years of trying/not trying hard enough. I just thought I’d say a few things fresh out of the oven…
I wish I had a couple more hours for my ldjam game (http://ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-33/?action=preview&uid=21481 …) to fix buggy attacking, add a proper…
Hello there ! Wanted to use UE4 for this LD, so I made a project not original (at all) to get used to this engine.
All right, I was able to submit my LD33 entry yesterday. To be honest, I wasn’t entirely sure if I would be able to finish it, but I did. However, the game I submitted,…
Just off the bat, I want you to know that I hate doing these. So I’ve never done one. I get nothing from reading them either. So I don’t read them. HOWEVER. THIS ludum…
WARNING : english is not my native language so I am not very good at it yet. So if you don’t understand something – let me know in comments below – this is probably my fault :)
This time ’round I decided I would do something I hadn’t had a chance to build. I was going to build a City-builder strategy game… This turned out to be a poor idea for…
I started this compo with one specific goal: to have music in my game. In the week before the compo, I spent a lot of time learning LMMS to brush up my (very) rusty…

My Entry
This one didn’t progress as far as I would have liked, and it’s due entirely to my laziness. I spent several hours thinking about working on the game and then doing…
“‘Lovers on a Park Bench‘ is essentially a typing game following the story of a square, his ex-girlfriend and a series of intense and very-confusing-at-times metaphors…
LD33 was my fourth Ludum Dare, and probably my eighth or ninth game jam, and although I’m still making many of the same mistakes, it’s reassuring to see that my skills…
I’ve seen a lot of people on here recommend game jams to new developers, and while I’ve liked the idea of jams, they didn’t seem right for me. So, I honestly wasn’t…
The game “Vendetta!” was developed by kuchenkruste and me during Ludum Dare 33 (which was the third ludum dare we participated).
I think this is one of my better Ludum Dare entries! I’ve been learning a lot from doing these, and I hope it shows.
So I finally did a real thorough and complete playthrough of Bridge Dweller. I will say that it’s possible, but barely. You have to be -crazy- conservative. I’m talking…
Things seem to have gone well just waiting for some feedback. I feel that I should have tried exporting a game with unity 5 html5. It did not go well and thus the web…

For LD-32 I made a game called “Fun with Vacuums”. I entered the Jam with no expectations and I am satisfied with the game I was able to produce. This is what I submitted.
For several categories, and in general, I think this is by far my best result in LD.
Hello fellow ludumites,
Wow, can’t believe 3 weeks have come and gone since I finished my first Ludum Dare. I really, really enjoyed the process and I’ve been giving it a lot of thought…
I spent a long time toying with my usual trying-to-be-too-clever-for-their-own-good weird, unusual game ideas linked to the theme before I asked myself half-jokingly if…
Play USB Hero
Thanks everyone for awesome ludum dare! For me this LD was more chaotic than the last one, all thanks to exams that I had. Never the less, I think that enjoyed it more…
Alright, it’s my third LD arleady, and i haven’t written any Post-mortem. i NEED to fix that. note: english is not my first language, so i’m sorry if there’s any gramatical error.
S-LAYER is my sixth Ludum Dare Game Jam entry, and my third successful entry in a row. It’s not the first shmup I’ve made; that distinction goes to Hitotsu – Last of the…
Rage the Stage was our 3 game and the first as a team of 3 people. We accepted the challenge “why not try something new“. So no Java and no Libgdx. A bigger challenge…
For my second Ludum Dare, with limited time, I did a pretty decent job. Slick was originally supposed to be a game about protecting your family’s land from corrupt…
My compo entry was unfinished, and my 4 “unconventional weapons” were not implemented. But all is not bad, and like always with this type of challenge, participating is…
How many of the 100 anagrams can you solve?
I’ve rated lot’s of games this LD. Maybe too much, but I had so much fun playing all those unfinished titles :)
We entered the LD32 Jam as our second jam (the last being LD28), and after three days of sleepless nights and good fun we came up with probably one of my favorite…
Hello Frinds from around the world.
Hello everyone! I finally complete my post mortem version of Battle Block Manager. I’ve done many upgrades to the first jam project and add some feature to balance the…
Play the game
I haven’t written up a post on this since it went up, so I figured I ought to do a postmortem at least. KADOOMERANG was an interesting project, even if it wasn’t my most…
Hello Guys, first off thanks to all the people who played my game so far, especially those who dropped me a line in the comments. If you haven’t played my game yet, here…
Our ludum dare 32 entry, Weathermage, was the rockiest submission I’ve ever done. It was incredibly ambitious, aiming to combine the gameplay of Divinity: Original Sin,…
